The dream… The reality… The continuity

 In Lebanon, years of military wars were followed by a war against human rights or rather against Man himself. Social problems increased: increased rate of delinquency, increased number of broken families, general poverty at many levels …
- The circle of freedom shrinked.
Many youngsters decided to act, and we chose to be among them, to work together on the road of light. Seven multidisciplinary persons met, discussed, worked on and prepared for the foundation of the movement.
The established mission was introduced to the Director of Collège des Frères - Mont la Salle who praised the project and accepted to be the chaplain of the movement.
This is how « Jeunesse Sans Frontière » was born.

Our founding members:

     Not to forget the efforts of Father Joe Bou Jaoudé who had to leave the movement to pursue his career as a priest.
     The group started up with the 7 volunteers. The number of members then increased gradually with the recruitment of new ones, generation after generation.
     After a study of needs that was realized in many Lebanese regions, Biakout, and notably the children of « Hay el Ein », was the first target for work.
A first challenging camp was organized with few resources but with a lot of faith.  Since then, one activity succeeded to the other, the number of volunteers and children increased, programs became diversified.

     In 1999, the movement was recognized as an official youth association by the Ministry of Youth and Sports by virtue of decree number 101/JS.

     The first official board of the movement was composed of 7 founding members. Since then, a new board is elected by the volunteer members each 2 years.
